COMPOSITE RESOURCES 
Composite Resources allow you to gather together existing resources to create a new, 'super' resource that can save you time when pricing work.
Composite Resources are displayed as a separate Resource Type in the Schedule Resources and Requirements listings. However their individual components are also listed under their respective Types.
A Fast Search function has been included to speed resource selection.
If you know the resource name (or any part of it), enter it
into the highlighted Description box and press Enter to list
all resources that include your search word or phrase.
You can also use the Find (Ctrl+F) to find text within a lengthy Category
page.
Use the Trace function if you need to find out where a selected resource has been used, both in libraries and schedules.
Key Features
- Composites may contain as many component resources as you need
- Components may be amended, replaced or deleted at any time
- A trace option is available to show where a selected composite is used (libraries and projects).
- You can replace composite resources throughout the library (See Resource Replacement).
- Fast Find - Enter a key word or phrase in the last row to search for the resource you want
Tips
- Use this library to save time selecting individual resources that are normally used together in a rate item. Examples are; labour gangs, mortar mixes etc.
